I went down to the beach yesterday evening to capture the sunset. I wasn't pleased with the colors, but I liked the light and shapes of the cloud so I monochromed the shot.

This was a fortunate capture. I was trying to get Alex to pose by this palm tree, but she was having none of it. Alex turned quickly to give me a"give me a break, Dad" look and I got it.
